Portraits with my Children

In an effort to try and take more photos with my children, and further embrace the camera, I'm starting a new monthly series for the year. Each month I want to try and take a picture of myself with each child. I don't have anywhere near as many as I'd like, besides those taken during the first hours of their little lives, and I want to change that. Not only for myself, but for them. I don't want them to wonder when they're older why I (or Joel) am absent in their childhood photos. 

So here's January's effort. 

We hardly look our best but this photo makes me smile. It feels like us. I like that we're pulling the same face too.
