"A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2015."

Leo's language has exploded in the last few weeks. He's been saying little phrases here and there and learning new words at rapid speed. We've been trying to teach him the names of different body parts and have him touch where they are on his body. We've got head, ears, nose (ignoring the fact that Leo takes it as an invitation to stick his fingers up there), eyes and belly button.

He is obsessed with belly buttons.

Obsessed.

He'll announce his discovery (be it of his own, Joel or mine) with a proud, "there it is," every time. For some reason, poking his belly button also means sticking in his tummy and being silly. Seriously, this kid. Anything for a laugh.

As always, joining with Jodi from Practising Simplicity
